Hair shears for stylists

Each one of us needs a haircut and mostly we visit a salon to get a new hairdo. Whenever we are at a salon we see stylists using hair shears, which is a fundamental equipment for them.

Hair shears is an excellent tool to cut hair. Some stylists prefer to use clippers and razors as well, but mostly hairdressing scissors are their first choice.

Hair cutting is easy and swift while working with clippers and stylists use them when a client intends a simple haircut. However, when a new style has to be achieved, hair shears prove to be more helpful.

One of the common misconceptions amongst many of us is that clippers can’t be used to cut women’s hair. However, this is not true. Just like hair shears, clippers too can be used to cut hair for men as well as women.

The primary reason why stylists love using hairdressing scissors is because it allows them more versatility to cut hair in tight places. Hair shears also allow more dynamic range of motion and cutting angles which is not possible with clippers.

Hair shears are routinely used by stylists for various barbering actions. The availability of different scissors like Thinning shears, Lefty scissors, Yoko scissors, etc. makes them popular over clippers. Each of these hair scissors are used for specific actions, like Thinning Shears are used for reducing the volume.

Lady GaGa hairstyles are frequently evolving. She never likes to keep the same celebrity hairstyle for long. Her new look is a mega lemon beehive.

Lady GaGa revealed her new style on the Japan leg of her MAC Viva Glam promotional tour. Her large beehive hairstyle comprises of many bobby pins and her stylist would have had a hard time to fix them up and then cement the beehive properly.

The short look has been the popular celebrity hairstyle this season and everyone is looking to snip their hair with hair shears. Its surprising to see that Lady GaGa adopted a beehive. May be she wanted a style that could stand out from the rest and her beehive hairstyle is definitely standing out. Isn’t it?

The beehive hairstyle is also known as the B-52, for its similarity to the bulbous nose of the B-52 Stratofortress bomber. It originated in 1958 and Margaret Vinci Heldt is regarded as its creator.

Heidi Klum has debuted her new bob after growing ‘bored’ with her old look. This celebrity hairstyle was unveiled by the supermodel last night when she visited The Tonight Show in LA.

Heidi Klum’s new shaggy bob haircut is a surprise for many. The German beauty has always been known for her long and honey blond hair.

She has been experimenting with her hairstyle recently. Initially she tried to pull her hair back and tie them in a ponytail, but this time she has gone for a more drastic change and have snipped her hair with the help of professional hair shears.

When Jay Leno asked Heidi about her celebrity hairstyle, she said, “I got bored as we all do once in a while as girls.” She went on to say, “Whenever I get bored I change it. I grow it then cut it, grow it then cut it. For some people they never change it and it works for them but for me I get bored.”

Heidi Klum’s bob haircut seems to be a practical hairstyle for a mother who has to look after her four children. Also, she can alter her celebrity hairstyle anytime by simply adding some extensions.

International Fantasy Hair Competit...

International Fantasy Hair Competition 2010 will be held on April 22, 2010. This event features the nation’s best stylists who compete at the highest level of their craft.

International Fantasy Hair Competition 2010 will take place at Verizon Wireless Arena 7 PM onwards. Many stylists will be flocking to Manchester to seek the ultimate venue to display their hairtistic abilities! We will also see the contestants fight to win the top prize of $7,000!

Many stylists will be displaying their amazing work at the event which has culminated after months of hard work. The models will be sporting various hairstyles and designs. The stylists will be using various hair extensions and colors to give the style a new and weird look, which makes you say WOW!

The judges for International Fantasy Hair Competition 2010 come from across the country to witness the amazing designs created and displayed right here in Manchester. These include John Clayton, Dale Dees, Karrie Fonte and C. Adrian Morris.

Judges will analyze each entry based on three areas: a maximum of 10 points will be awarded for Creativity, 5 points for Over-All Appearance, and another 5 points for the Model’s presentation on stage.
