Kate Gosselin likes long hair

Kate Gosselin sported another new hairstyle this week while performing on Dancing With the Stars. She performed a Spanish style dance with her partner Tony Dovolani by wearing hair extensions, thus creating a new celebrity hairstyle.

Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani used Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” for their performance. The reality star mom wore tacky blond hair extensions which lengthened her short hair. Following this new celebrity hairstyle, Kate claims that she loves having long hair.

Kate Gosselin’s hairstyles have changed very rapidly this year. First, she started the new year by ditching her famous short spiky ‘do and adopting hair extensions. Kate’s blonde locks looked long and lush after celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson spent nearly 20 hours meticulously adding hundreds of extensions to Kate Gosselin’s hair.

She changed her style again by stripping off her $7,000 extensions for a quick new look. This was done for her big debut on Dancing With The Stars. Kate Gosselin’s hairstyle looked like a’60s style bob in which she got rid of those extensions.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, the reality star said: “With the longer hair it feels more like me, because I actually have like the same crazy hair I had when I was like 20. So I’m hoping to recapture my youth after eight kids if that’s possible.”

Ted Gibson had earlier said that Kate Gosselin’s short haircut is simply a transition style before she goes back to the extensions and brightens up her strands with a three-blend custom hair color.

Jon is eliminated from Shear Genius...

Shear Genius Season 3 is down to just three stylists now as Jon was eliminated last night. Bravo’s reality show will now see Brig, Matthew and Janine fight for the ultimate prize.

Shear Genius Season 3 Episode 9 was entitled “Bring It on, Bitches”. In this episode all the competitors were required to style their first celebrity client which was none other than the host of the show – Camila Alves!

The judges had surprised everyone by not sending anyone home during Episode 8 of Shear Genius 3. However, Jon was sent off last night and the show lost its entertaining and sincere stylist. Matthew won the Short Cut challenge while Brig won the Elimination Challenge.

For the Elimination Challenge, legendary stylist Oribe joined as guest judge and offered the stylists some insight into creating a brand for themselves. Incidentally, Jon had spent five years working for Oribe where he styled countless runway shows and honed his craft.

Jon has regularly worked with celebrities like Bette Midler, Janet Jackson, LeAnn Rimes, Alan Jackson, Lisa Marie Presley and Poison. He has continuously harnessed his skills as a stylist at a myriad of notable institutions, including Bumble & Bumble in New York, Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles and Jingles in London.

It was disappointing to see the elimination of Jon. He was always very entertaining and creative. Even during the Elimination Challenge, he took a bit risk by choosing a thin-haired model, and it paid off.

Lady GaGa hair with Diet Coke cans

Lady GaGa hairstyles are always outrageous. Sometimes she makes it look like a massive dome, sometimes she colors them yellow and purple, or makes a hair hat! But this time Lady GaGa has soda cans in her hair producing a weird celebrity hairstyle.

Lady GaGa recently showed up in the Sydney airport with Diet Coke cans in her hair. The 23-year-old is in Australia as part of her Monster Ball world tour. She will perform 13 shows and we may get to see some more weird Lady GaGa hairstyles.

Its surprising to see a celebrity hairstyle with soda cans. Lady GaGa had debuted the Coke-can look in her video for new single Telephone, a duet with Beyonce Knowles. It seems she has fallen in love with this style and wants to keep forever.

Lady Gaga will also be gracing the hit U.S. show Glee by making a cameo appearance. Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Josh Groban have been previously seen on the show. This year the Paparazzi singer will be the show’s latest star.

With Lady GaGa using Diet Coke cans in her hair, I wonder what she would try out next! Hair accessories look good in hair, but not if they are weird products like soda cans.
